The fabulous MMH of August features stamps, frames and other great products that, I am pretty much sure you would love to have to create Summer themed projects, take a look:

MMH August 2020 Kit
MMH August 2020 Kit

The Kit includes: 6″ x 8″ Clear Stamp Set, 23 Coordinating Frame Cuts, 1 Greeting Fancy Edge Die, 5 White Postcards, Summer Twilight Palette Reactive Ink Pad. Kit Value: $76.00 Kit Cost: $34.99

So, for today I made two cards. The first one was created using some of the images of the fabulous MMH kit, take a look:

I have to point out that with all those cute images with their matching frames, whatever images you chose, your card is going to be awesome. These images are ideal to color, so in this case I used markers. Additionally, I added some Glaze/Sparkles details to the images, just to make them a bit more fun.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission from Hero Arts at no cost for you. Thanks!

I selected different colors of HA cardstock to create a colorful striped background. Once I adhered the strips over a white folded card I arranged the stamped images onto the card, to create a little relaxing scene. I finish off my card with a white-embossed sentiment over a black cardstock strip and some sequins.

Supplies Card 1: MMH August | Hero Arts Cardstock

As in every month, there are also some wonderful Add-On products, and I created a second card with a couple of those, check it out:

Card #2 showcases a cute stamp set called Bubble Bath and its matching frame cuts. Just like in my first card, I simply stamped the images with black ink and then I colored the images with markers.

Next, I using a 7/8″ square punch I created different colors of squares to create a background for my scene. I adhered the squares onto a white panel to created a tiled rhombus and then, I arranged the stamped images onto it. I complemented this card with a white-embossed sentiment, some sequins and Glaze/Sparkle details.

My Monthly Hero Blog Hop + Giveaway

The new My Monthly Hero kit has just been released and it will be available as of TODAY July 13th at the Hero Arts store, but be aware that this kit is available for a limited time only – once it’s gone, it’s gone. Please remember that you have the option to subscribe and receive the kit monthly and never miss one.  Pre-order your kit today – we estimate kit shipping will begin Friday, July 17th and continues throughout the following week.

The amazing MMH of July features a lots of cool products perfect to create under the sea themed projects, take a look:

The Kit includes: 6″ x 8″ Clear Stamp Set, 9 Coordinating Frame Cuts, 1 Fancy Edge Die, 6 Sheets of Sticker Paper (2 each of Diamond Blue, Teal, Purple), 5 Reactive Ink Cubes (Blue Hawaii, Splash, Pool Party, Key Lime Fizz, Taffy), Coral Embossing Powder 0.5 oz. Kit Value: $76.50 Kit Cost: $34.99

As in every month, there are also some wonderful Add-On products, and with some of those, I created two cards that I am sharing with you today. My first card features Deeply in Love stamp set, its matching frame cuts and a wonderful die called Underwater Pillar Window Die, take a look:

Using Hero Arts Orchid and Indigo Bold Inks I created a two color background. I used a sponge dauber to achieve an ombré effect. After that, I die cut the the pretty Underwater Pillar Window Die from it. I took a shortcut to create this shaker card, because I used a clear pocket envelope which I filled with green confetti and some gold sequins instead of creating it with acetate and foam tape as we normally do. Although, the sequins and confetti don’t move around as much as a normal shaker card. The envelope comes with a sticky back, so I stuck it over a folded card. Then, I simply affixed the window shape over it with a few foam squares.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission from Hero Arts. Thanks!

Next, I used the Deeply in Love stamp set and matching frame cuts to create the dips diver and algae foliage. Notice that I use a bit of marker details over the diver, just so the image doesn’t look so flat. I adhered the stamped images over the card with glue dots and foam tape and I complemented the card with a stamped sentiment, sequins and some tiny hearts that I cut using the HA Nested Hearts.

Supplies Card 1: CM457 Deeply in Love | DI782 Deeply In Love Frame Cuts | DI779 Underwater Pillar Window Die |Nested Frame Cuts Hearts

Card #2 showcases the Submarine Fancy Die. So, I die-cut the submarine from four different colors of cardstock and using detail scissors, I trimmed off different parts of the shape, kind of like assembling a tiny puzzle. I put the pieces together using craft glue.

Then, I made a few strips from different colors of cardstock and I adhered them over a white panel to create a striped background. After that, I simply adhered the panel over a folded card and I adhered the submarine with foam tape.

Additionally, I stamped a sentiment from the Deep Sea Messages over white cardstock and I die cut it into a circle. I want to point out the this stamp set was designed to go with the HA Peek-A-Boo dies, but of course you can use the sentiment and images to create whatever your heart desires 😉 Finally, I simple adhered some Blues Hero Hues Enamel dots to complement my card.

New FSJ Happy Place Collection | Hope Everything is Going Swimmingly Card

The new Happy Place Collection by Fun Stampers Journey is here! Yes! I am quite excited about this collection because it is so fun to play with. The collection includes stamps and dies perfect to create summer projects. Today, I am sharing a card that I created using a die set called Pool with a View die set and a sentiment included in Make a Splash stamp set

The die is so versatile, you can either use it to simply create a swiming pool or create a swiming pool shaped shaker window… It is just perfect for both looks, it is up to you! For this card I began by making a printed paper rectangle and matting it with Whip Cream cardstock. Then, I adhered the panel over a Haystack folded card. After that, I die cut the summer umbrella, pool, leaves and ladder from different color of cardstock. Then, I simply arranged them over the card.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission. Thanks!

I continued by stamping a sentiment and I trimming it with scissors. I included a stripe of Whip Cream cardstock and I complemented with some tiny flowers, gemstones and hearts. Always fun to create with new awesome products!

Happy 4th of July!

This year we are neither having a parade, fireworks nor a big celebration, but what we have is the opportunity to celebrate united with our hearts and be proud to be Americans. I have been a US citizen for more than five years now, and I am very proud of that and of living in this amazing country. So, I just wanted to wish you a very Happy 4th of July with this card:

For this card I used two different stamp sets: Freedom Sparkle Stamp Set and All You Do Stamp Set. I began by creating the background with Candy Apple Liquid Color and a Square Paint Brush. I layered two different size/color of stars, and I stamped the sentiment and flag.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission. Thanks!

I adhered all the elements over the background and then, I embellished the card with silver pearls, a paper clip, a border and Sparkle silk.

Time to share with the Hello and Love Gift Kits

Today happy to share two great Fun Stampers Journey deals that are available at the SB store right now. I am talking about the Hello Delivered and Love Delivered gift kits which are the perfect bundles to create a fun “little something” to give to someone. Both bundles include boxes, tags, ribbons and some great embellishments. This is the Hello Delivered Gift Kit:

Hello Delivered Gift Kit

Bundle contains: Set of 10 to go boxes 16 pre-printed tags (just need to be cut out), Package of Jumbo Clothespins, Roll of Black Gingham ribbon, Set of colorful buttons, Cool Tune Elements and Beach Breeze ThreadRoll of Lemon Drop ribbon.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission. Thanks!

I made a few projects using my tags and boxes but I also made a card that coordinates with the gift box. The tags can be also used to create the focal point of cards if you want to, it is up to you!

These food grade takeout boxes ( 5″ x 4″ x 2 1/2″) in coated kraft-colored chipboard are just perfect to fill with some yummy goodies.

I want to point out that the tags coordinate perfectly with the Bread Tag Die but if you don’t have that die you can also cut them out with scissors.

I created a coordinated card with some of my other FSJ products I have in my stash: Birthday Candles Stamp Set , Birthday Pop Stamp Set and Uplift Die Set.

The other Gift Kit is called Love Delivered, take a look:

Love Delivered Gift Kit

My Monthly Hero Blog Hop + Giveaway

The new My Monthly Hero kit has just been released and it will be available as of TODAY June 8th at the Hero Arts store, but be aware that this kit is available for a limited time only – once it’s gone, it’s gone. Please remember that you have the option to subscribe and receive the kit monthly and never miss one.

As you know, every state in this country is taking steps to get back to normal at their own pace, so I am sharing a Hero statement that I would like to share with you:

“We are working on restarting our operations in a safe manner, bringing back our production and shipping teams with social distancing, and keeping our warehouse cleaned under the strictest standards. We are first focusing on all of the orders in-house for all of our wonderful and patient customers, subscribers, and international customers, and hope to get back to regular shipping times once we are through what was delayed. We estimate June kits and add-ons will begin shipping on Friday, June 19, after all previous orders have gone out.”

Now, going back to the fabulous MMH of June, this one features a 4 x 6″ stamp set and a 6″x6″ cling stamp along with dies and other great products perfect to create amazing projects for Summer, take a look:

MH0620 MY MONTHLY HERO KIT JUNE 2020

from: Hero Arts Rubber Stamps

The kit includes: 4″ x 6″ Clear Stamp Set, 6″ x 6″ Northern Lights Cling Stamp, 3 Fancy Scene Dies, 10 Coordinating Frame Cuts, 2 5.5″ x 8.5″ Sheets of Black Handmade Watercolor Paper,  Glow In The Dark Lacquer Pen, Shiny Silver Stars. The value of this kit is $74, but it can be yours for only $34.99… so this is really a good deal!

This month, there also some wonderful Add-On products, and with some of those, I created two cards that I am sharing with you today. My first card features Color Layering Howling Wolf Stamp set, Color Layering Howling Wolf Frame Cuts and two Fancy Dies from the main kit. I want to point out that the HA Color Layering stamps work amazingly well with the Misti Mini Hero Black, so keep the great tool in mind when you get any of the HA Color Layering stamps…

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission from Hero Arts. Thanks!

I used my Misti Mini Hero Black to stamp the wolf and Moon. I used three different colors for the wolf (Soft Brown, Soft Granite, and Intense Black) and two for the moon (Soft Vanilla and Soft Brown). The image is so nice with many details that make it so real!

For the background I used two of the Fancy dies included in the main kit. The mountains were simply die cut from light gray cardstock and the rocks from brown cardstock. This die is actually the die that has a light house, but I trimmed off the light house with scissors and I only used the bottom part as the base for the wolf. The rest, a dark sky, a white embossed sentiment and some sequins.

My second card features three Add-On products: Shine Bright Stamp set, Shine Bright Frame Cuts and the Shooting Star Stencil. Take a look:

For this card I created a subtle background using liquid colors and shaving cream. Then, I used the Shooting Star stencil along with modeling paste to create a dimensional impression of the stencil. I finished it up with some sparkle silk.

The pretty mermaid and dolphin were stamped with different colors of ink also using my Misti Mini Hero Black. I love this tool because you can create ombre effects so easily, and once you have it you want to use it all the time! Finally, I simply included a sentiment over a circle shape, and some sequins.

Best Dad Ever Layout

Hey there! Time is flying and Father’s Day is around the corner so I hope we Hey there! Time is flying and Father’s Day is around the corner so I hope we can celebrate grilling something and making this day special for my husband. Probably all Father’s Day celebrations are going to be different this year (sigh), but we all can make them awesome, don’t you think?

Anyway, I am going to try this month to share more projects in the “masculine category”, so I am going to start by sharing a letter-size layout of my husband and our two sons that I created using FSJ products including some of my favorite embellishments that I always like to use on my scrapbook pages, take a look:

I began by creating the criss cross pattern background with an ink pad over plain cardstock. I matted this panel with a darker color of cardstock. Then, I added a few layers that included a notebook border, a piece of printed paper, a couple of tags, decorative tape and of course some stamped sentiments here and there.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission. Thanks!

Adding the final touches to my pages (and cards too) is for me, the best part of my creative process. I enjoy choosing and placing all the little details that complete any of my projects. This time, I included some fun paper clips in a shape of a man and glasses, as well as a small wooden arrow, staples, and black thread.

BTW, right now many FSJ products are on sale, so this is the right time to stack on some of your favorite ones…

You Got This

Hello friends! It has been a long quarantine here in Illinois but my crafts and my coffee keep me strong 🙂 So, today I have a quick post just to share a card that I made using Fun Stampers Journey products. The set that my card showcases is called Coffee Helps (and sure it does), take a look:

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission. Thanks!

I began by creating the background of the card which is a fun easy way to use Liquid Colors and I made a quick video of how to do it, check it out:

Then, adhered the background over a folded card. I stamped the coffee cups onto different colors of cardstock and die cut them with their matching dies. Notice that I stamped the heart of the light blue cup on the other two colors too. I adhered the cups over the card with foam squares, and I also stamped the sentiment. I fussy cut the two extra hearts and adhered them over the other two cups, then I colored them with Candy Apple Liquid Color. Finally, I simply added Journey Glaze details, which always make your cards stand out 😉 .

Hello Card

Hey there! Days are flying by, but one of the things that I like to do everyday, no matter what, is to dedicate an hour or so to do my crafts. I have been organizing, doing scrapbooking, and of course my cards. Another thing that I have been trying to do is to order some craft supplies from some of my favorite stores including local stores. I really wouldn’t like to see any craft store closing their doors forever, so I am trying to help a little bit.

Anyway, here I am sharing a card that I create with some cool products from Hero Arts. I am including a quick recipe and a list of supplies too. Check it out:

My card showcases a pretty set called Hello Toucan. This set includes cute toucan images that are perfect to color. Coloring can be a good stress reliever. So nowadays it has been good for me to keep my color pencils and markers handy all the time 😉 This time, I chose my color pencils to color the cool toucan, flowers and leaves. The rest, two green tones of cardstock, a sentiment, enamel dot and glaze details.

Be aware that my post includes affiliate links, which means that if you click on and shop through them, I will receive a tiny commission. Thanks!

Quick Card Recipe:

  1. Create a folded card from Pesto color cardstock.
  2. Use the Leaves & Vines Fancy Die and a Palm color cardstock rectangle (3″ x 5.5) to create a partial background. Adhere to card with craft glue.
  3. Die cut a rectangle from Dove White cardstock. Stamp sentiment with black ink. Adhere over card front with foam tape.
  4. Stamp images with black ink over Dove White cardstock. Color with color pencils. Die cut with their matching dies. Arrange and adhere over card.
  5. Apply glaze details, enamel dots and a wiggle eye.

My Monthly Hero Blog Hop + Giveaway

The new My Monthly Hero kit has just been released and it will be available as of TODAY March 2nd at the Hero Arts store, but be aware that this kit is available for a limited time only – once it’s gone, it’s gone. For this month, Hero will start shipping the kits and add-ons on March 16 due to some supplier delays. We all know you are excited to get your kit and Hero will work to ship earlier if possible. Thank you for your wonderful patronage and patience. Please remember that you have the option to subscribe and receive the kit monthly and never miss one.

The theme for March features a wonderful color layering set that comes with dies and other great products perfect to create amazing projects for Spring with an oriental touch, take a look:

The kit includes: 6″ x 8″ Clear Stamp Set, 5 Coordinating Frame Cut Dies, 5 Ink Cubes (Green Hills, Field Greens, Dusty Blue, Rose Madder, Cotton Candy), 6 5.5″x 8.5″ Sheets of Cardstock (2 each of Peony, Kiwi and Mist),  Pink Puff Embossing Powder 0.5 oz. The value of this kit is $70, but it can be yours for only $34.99… so this is really a good deal!

This month, there also some phenomenal add-ons products, and I had the chance to create with some of them. My first card features Dreams Will Blossom Stamp set and its Frame Cuts:

The set includes a couple of flower bouquets and some sentiments. I stamped one of the flowers stamps over white cardstock, and I added some color details with markers. This stamp is so pretty that it doesn’t really need much color to look lovely! I complemented the image with a sentiment that I white-embossed over a black cardstock strip. I placed both of them over a double layer of rectangles.

Then, I created the background using a stencil called Leaf Pattern (this stencil came along with the June MMH kit). I used it to embossed a dark pink cardstock panel, and after that I adhered it over a black folded card. I adhered the focal point layers over the card, and I embellished it with yellow enamel dots.

HA Supplies Card#1: Dreams Will Blossom | Dreams Will Blossom Frame Cuts | Sunset Hero Hues Enamel Dots |

My second card shows a cute and fun set called Kittens in Kimonos.

I began by creating the stamped background. Using the Parasol Bold Prints stamp with red ink over a red cardstock panel, I created a subtle image. I added the panel over a black folded card.

After that, I stamped two of the kittens over white cardstock and colored them with markers. I die cut them with their matching frame cuts. Then, I white-embossed a sentiment over a black cardstock strip. To finish up the card I arranged the stamped element over the card and I complement them with a white circle shape, decorative tape and some enamel dots. Simple yet fun!
