Hero Arts Anniversary Blog Hop • Day 1

Welcome! Today I am thrilled to be joining a fun Hero Arts Blog Hop that celebrates the launch of the 2019 Summer Catalog as well as the 45th Anniversary of Hero Arts in the crafting industry! So exciting!

This is a three day event in which each day a different group of talented crafters will be sharing projects using products from the new catalog. Please be sure to visit the Hero Arts store to see the new catalog as well as all the new amazing products!

As part of this celebration, I created two cards using a stamp set called: Curious Cat, which is absolutely adorable!

The images were stamped with Intense Black ink and then colored with markers. I die cut the images with their matching frame cuts, which are also available at the Hero store. Additionally, I created a subtle background with a stencil, ink and a sponge dauber, and I finished up this card with some twine and clear dots.

For my second card, I used a different cat and fish images that are super cute too. This time I stamped the fish bowl using Soft Sky ink and then I colored the water with markers. I colored the images with markers as well, then I adhered the fish over the bowl image with foam tape.

After that, I stamped the bowl again over a clear acetate with StazOn Jet Black ink , and then I die cut it with its matching die. I added a drop of Glaze over the fish and I placed the clear bowl over the fish. Then, I simply arranged the cat to complete the cute scene. The final touches for this card were, a white-embossed sentiment, washi tape and some dots.

Hero Arts have gathered some fabulous prizes from some industry friends and partners for this hop, so take a look of the amazing list of sponsor and prizes:
