RG Celebra’tions Blog Hop

Welcome to Week 2 of the RG Blog Hop! This week we are showcasing Richard Garay’s  Celebra’tions Collection! I have to point out that NEW elements have been added to this collection, which will be revealed at CHA, but I am sure Richard will share it  with everyone afterwards!

In case you missed Week 1, please click HERE to start from the beginning. ! For the first time EVER, Richard Garay will be hosting his own space in the industry’s Mega Show where the his four new collections will debut! As part of this event for the next three weeks we will be sharing sneak peeks from each collection. Of course there is a fun GIVEAWAY opportunity every week, PLUS a GRAND PRIZE at the end of the fourth week  (more details further below.)

This Celebra’tions collection is filled with color and hooray! The opportunity to celebrate that special moment and bring paper to life with yummy designs, amazing textures and an inviting color pallete is what makes this collection something to celebrate about!

Using some of the products from this collection I created a 3″ x 3″ card and gift bag set perfect to celebrate Valentines:

I made the background of this little card using one of my favorite stamps from the collection, called Brush Strokes along with Captivating Coral ink. I die cut the heart shapes with Pierced Hearts and Assorted Solids 12×12 Paper Pack. The sentiment is from Many Words stamp set, and I stamped it over a white paper strip with Berry Black Ink. I layered the different elements using adhesive and foam squares, and at the end I splattered the card with Silver Shimmer, and I added some clear gemstones..

I cut this 3.5″ x 5″ x 2″ gift bag using my electronic cutting machine and Cotton Candy card stock. I also die cut two different sizes of  Pierced Hearts with Captivating Coral and white card stocks. I stamped the sentiment over the small heart with Berry Black Ink.  I layered the shapes over the bag, and I secured the flap of the bag with a piece of ribbon and Linen Thread. Finally, I embellished the bag with some clear gemstones.
