Hero Arts 2016 Catalog Blog Hop

Welcome to the…

If you are coming from Kathy Rascoosin’s blog you are in the right direction 😀 Today is special because  ALL the new amazing 2016 products have been added to the Hero Arts store, so this is the right time to fulfill your wish-list 😉

So as part of the celebration, I  made a card featuring a set called: Mason Jar Bugs

First, I created the main panel of my card with  watercolor paper. I created the watercolor background using three colors of Gelatos (pink, purple, blue). Then, I stamped the Mason jar image with the new Intense Black Ink. I have to point out that this new ink is alcohol-marker friendly 🙂 🙂 🙂 I love that.  After that, I matted the panel with a layering paper rectangle (Azure Color), and I stitched the edges.

Next, I stamped the bugs images with Intense Black Ink, and I colored them with alcohol markers on a piece of watercolor paper. Then, I die cut the images with its matching dies.  I adhered them onto the panel with foam squares. Then, using Passion Flower Mid-Tone Shadow Ink,  I stamped Garden Bold Prints over a folded card (Iris color). Next, I adhered the main panel over the card base. Finally, I white-embossed a short sentiment over a strip of black card stock, I adhered it with foam squares, and I embellished the card with some gemstones.
