A JR Card [Thinking of You]

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I am sharing a clean and simple card that I created today, featuring a JustRite Cling set called Fancy Tags. The colors are from the current Justite Challenge Inspiration #64 that ends on Wednesday, January 25 . So if you have some time to pull out from your stash some of your JR stamps, you still have plenty of time to participate. The prize that they are giving away this week is awesome…. You can read more about it by clicking here

I created the flower by using three different sizes of  daisy punches. I layered three shapes of each size, and I used a brad to hold the petals together. Very simple yet very pretty… Don’t you think?  😀

Thank you for visiting Have a great rest of the week!

JustRite Christmas Linky Party

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for the JustRite Stampers Christmas Linky Party!  This is how it works: JustRite is inviting designers to create and share their JustRite Christmas projects, and link their blog posts to the JustRite blog. This Linky Party will last the whole week, and it is a great opportunity to share your projects with the JR readers and find new places for inspiration.  There will be JustRite Gifts given away throughout the Party!!  So you can read more about it and find the Party rules here.

For my card I used two sets. I use the cute snowman image from an original large oval set called Blizzard Bunch. I also used a sentiment and  two snowflakes  from a cling set called Sparky the Snowman

A JR Card [Bon Anniversaire mon ami]

Hi!

A quick post today to share a card featuring JustRite cling stamps. The sets that I used are  Shabby Chic Labels Four, and Greetings from Paris. I also used some beautiful patterned papers that belongs to  Baby Steps 6×6 collection by Simple Stories…. Yes, you read it right… These are some baby theme papers, but remember that you don’t necessarily have to use them with a baby theme project. These papers are perfect to create a shabby chic or vintage style card,  like I did. You can find the paper collection, and the cling stamps at the Stamper’s Dream Store as well as lots of more  fabulous products 🙂

A JR Card [From Paris with Love]

Happy Monday, everyone!

Today I have a card that I created using one of the new cling sets that were recently released by JustRite and are already for sale on the Stamper’s Dream Store. This set is called Greetings from Paris.  I love all of the images included in it, and the theme is so romantic that of course I wanted to make a card that would fit the beautiful images.  I used the patterned paper that I created the other day in this tutorial, and I added lots of details: stitches, crochet ribbon, crinkle ribbon, burlap, twine, pearls, clay flowers, a button, staples, and distress inks 🙂

Thanks for visiting :) Have a Great week!

A JR Card [You are in My Prayers]

Happy Tuestday, everyone!

This month JustRite has launched 2 stamps sets for a fundraising campaign for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. The sets are called: “Strengh and Courage” and “Be Strong”. In an effort to find an early diagnostic test or screening tool for Ovarian Cancer, JustRite Crafting For a Cause will donate 20% of the sales from Be Strong and Strength and Courage in 2011 to Ovarian Cancer Research. To read more about these special released click on the image below.

The first set is an original oval set, and the second one is a clear set. If you noticed, the sets are very similar… but there are some differences between them. For example: the original set includes oval frames and the clear set includes some extra sentiments 😉 Overall, I think both are fabulous, and I love the cause!

Even though the fundraising efforts are focused on ovarian cancer these stamp sets can be used to support your personal cause – from Breast Cancer to Lung Cancer.  To assist you in knowing what ribbon color signifies which Cancer Cause, Amy Tedder, who is the illustrator of these wonderful sets, has created a handy ribbon color chart that you will find below my card 🙂

And of course, you can find and get these sets at the Stamper’s Dream Store!

Here is the chart:

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a wonderful week!

A JR Card [Cheerful Thoughts]

Hi there!

I hope you all had an awesome weekend. Ours was busy, but fun. The only bad thing about my weekend was that it went by too fast 😦 Anyhow, during the weekend between doing this, and doing that I managed to create some patterned papers using Distress Inks 🙂 After I finished them, I thought they were perfect for a vintage or shabby chic style card. So this morning, I created one  that features  a JustRite cling set called Spread Your Wings  which is a fabulous set. I also used a little sentiment included in Just Because Mini Sentiments, and this original set is one of those  “must have”… The set has eighteen sentiments for every occasion, and the size is great for any card…

Today I am also sharing, how I created my patterned papers…This is really fun, because your paper doesn’t have to be perfect… so you can unleash your creativity while you are working on them 😉

Supplies you will need:  Assorted colors of Distress Inks, white cardstock, stamps.

1. You are going to simply sweep your ink pad across the paper diagonally several times, creating a pattern.

2. Then, do it again in opposite direction..

3. Repeat  steps 1 and 2  as many times as you want in any colors you wish.

4. To finish, stamp some images randomly using a darker color.

This is another idea…

1. Use you ink pad as a stamp, and create a pattern.

2. Repeat step 1 as many times as you want with a different color each time.

3. To finish, stamp a large background on top of your pattern paper (I recommend you to use a darker color)

…and Presto!

Thanks for visiting 🙂 Have a Great week!
