Jane’s Doodles Cards

Hi!

After being part of the Jane’s Doddles Design Team for five years, I decided to step down from the team. I really appreciate the chance to be part of Jane’s journey; she have always been very kind and patient with me, especially when I was having a hard time posting my cards on time. Thanks Jane from the bottom of my heart!
Anyway, today I just want to share a few of my favorite cards I have made using Jane’s Doodles stamps…

Jane’s Doodles Spotlight Blog Hop

Hi!

Welcome to a fabulous Jane’s Doodles Spotlight Blog Hop! Today we are sharing cards featuring two new sets: Donuts and Smile. Both of these sets are already available at the Jane’s Doodles store. I have to point out that there is an Easter sale (starting today April 3rd) and ALL clear stamps will be 30% off all Easter weekend 🙂 🙂 🙂

My first card features one of the happy images of the Smile stamp set, which is a snake 😉 I stamped the image over a piece of patterned paper, and then I cut it out with scissors. I added wiggly eyes and a mustache to the cute snake, are well as Glossy Accents details. The background was created with one of my favorites sets: Stripes and Dots.

My second card features: Donuts. This set is so much fun. I chose the cluster of donuts image and I colored the bottom part with markers, and I also used different patterned papers for the upper part… Yummy colors, don’t you think?

Hoppy Easter!

Happy Friday, everyone! Really quick today just to share a card featuring a  FREEBIE digi-stamp by Jane’s Doodles032515web_hoppyEaster What I like the most about dig-istamps is that you can re-size the image at your convenience, and print it out with your home printer. The images were colored with Copic markers, and the background was created with different colors of Ink Daubers and a brush. At the end, Stickles and Glossy Accents here and there 🙂 If you like the image,  you can download it directly on the Jane’s Doodles Blog. Well, that’s all from me for today, I will be back soon to share another project. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great crafty weekend!

Hi!

I am finally back to share I made a card that I using a cute set called Spring by Jane’s Doodles. By the way, currently there is a 20% Off all clear stamps at the JD store, so this is a good time to buy some of those stamp sets that you have on your wish list 😉

I also used  Stripes and Dots to create the the grass (This is a great set). I stamped  the flowers with plain Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then I colored them with markers, but the little chick was made with the paper piecing technique ;). The text bubble is from a Stamp and Cut set by Hero Arts called Yes. At the very end, I  added some Stickles and Glossy Accents details over the colored images.

Well, that’s all from me right now, I will be back soon to share another card!

A JD Card [Special to Me]

Hey there!

Here is a card that I created using a set called Doddle Flowers II by Jane’s Doodles.  I think I am definitely in the Spring mode 🙂030315web_urspecial

This set is so pretty and versatile! It includes many images, some of them are solids and other ones are outlined.   The sentiment that I used is  by Hero Arts (Year Round Sentiments). I loved the color I chose, so I am also including the color combo:

Last week and this week we have had two snowy days 😦 But there is hope… Spring will arrive soon!

A JD Card [ You Brighten My Day]

Happy Monday, everyone!

I am back today to share a card that I made using a couple of sets by Jane’s Doodles

021515web_youbrighten

To make the card, I used Stripes and Dots stamp set to create the striped background. I love that set, one of my favorites right now 🙂 I want to point out that the background was inspired by a card that I saw in a Stampin’ Up catalog. I just loved the way the yellow color contrasts against white, very pretty 😉 (I guess I am dreaming that Spring will arrive soon!)
The image that I used is from Daffodils, and I white-embossed the image over watercolor paper. Then, I carefully colored the image using a watery mix of Faber Castell Gelatos. At the end I added a sentiment, stitches, pearls and hemp.

Well, that’s all from me right now, I will be back soon to share another project!

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a wonderful crafty week!

A JD Card [Celebrate]

Happy Friday, everyone!

Another quick post today 🙂 just to share a card that I made using Jane’s Doodles products…

012515web_celebrate

This time I used Stripes and Dots stamp set to create the background, along with two different ink colors. I also used a fun set called Cheers. I chose the glass of wine image and a short sentiment from the set. I colored the main image with Chameleon pens and I added Glossy Accents. Then, I carefully trimmed the image with scissors and I adhered onto a white square (I rotated the square 45º just to make it a little bit different.)  The sentiment was white embossed onto black card stock strip, and then I adhered it with foam tape. I placed the square also with foam tape onto de card and then, I simply embellished it with a heart shaped gem.

Well, that’s all from me right now, I will be back soon to share another project!

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a wonderful crafty weekend!

Jane’s Doodles Spotlight Blog Hop

Hi!

Welcome to a fabulous Jane’s Doodles Spotlight Blog Hop! Today we are sharing cards featuring a new cute set called SeamusI have to point out that as part of this Blog Hop Seamus is currently 15% off 🙂 Isn’t he adorable?

010815web_woolyou

Well, to create the background of the card, I used another new stamp set called Stripes and Dots.  I stamped one of the solid stripe images using two different colors of ink. Then on a piece of white card stock, I stamped one of the sheep images using black ink and then, I added color details with my Copics. I trim out the image with my scissors. Quite easy and quick. I stamped the sentiment on text bubble and then,  I simply stamped some pink hearts.  To finish this card, I tied Baker’s Twine around front panel, and I added Glossy Accents details.

As always, Jane is giving away the Seamus set. So, for the chance to win it, please leave comments on each of the participants blogs. We have talented Tanja as our Guest Designer 🙂 The winner will be announced on Monday.

A JD Card [You’ll Never Know…]

Happy New Year my friends!

I am happy to be posting today my first card of the year 🙂  I used one of the most recently released sets by Jane’s Doodles: Hello Friend, which is a very cute set…

010115web_youllnever

This card is another simply stamped project. I used two of the solid images included in the set along with one of the sentiments and a little heart image also included in the same set.  The only final touches were baker’s twine and a little bit of Glossy Accents over the heart image. Easy peasy.

I hope you all had a nice Holiday season. We were very busy the whole month of December. First, at the beginning of the month, we started making some home improvements. We changed the floor of the main level of the house, and changed the counter top of our kitchen, and some other things. All was finally finished by th 19th, so then, we finally could put all the Christmas decorations. Then, the last minute shopping, the cooking,  and the cleaning kept us entertained. The family came over on the 24th to have dinner with us. We really enjoyed their company.  New Years was quiet here; a simple celebration just the four of us and two friends as guest. Now, I’m simply glad that the Holidays are over 🙂 I just wish I could have an extra week to rest 🙂

Well, that’ all from me today. Thanks for visiting, have a nice crafty rest of the weekend!

A JD Card [Peace on Earth]

Hi!

Just popping in really quick to share a Jane’s Doodles Card. The set that I used this time is called: Mr. and Mrs. Claus

121514web_peaceonearth1

The two main images included in this set are just perfect for the piecing technique (one of my favorites) I used patterned papers included in a Dots & Stripes by Echo Park, sequins by Lawn Fawn, and  Stickles details. My card was based on the CTS design #103 from last week by CAS(E) this sketch. (There is still time to participate 🙂 if you wish )

CTS_103

I have the intention to participate on the challenge since last week, but I have been struggling to find the time to make my crafts. We are doing some renovations at home, and everything is upside down 😦 Besides that, I haven’t even put all my Christmas decorations…  (sigh). Hopefully, I can do it this weekend, right on time for Christmas.

Well, that’ all from me today. Thanks for visiting, have a nice crafty week!
