RG Noteworthy Blog Hop

Welcome to Week 3 of the RG Blog Hop! This week we are featuring Richard Garay’s  Noteworthy Collection! Which offers vintage elements with a modern spin.

Richard Garay will be hosting his own space in the industry’s Mega Show where his FOUR NEW COLLECTIONS will debut!  If you have the chance to attend CHA 2016, please stop by booth #2845 so you can see the full collections and enter to win some yummy prizes!

As part of this event for the next two weeks we will be sharing sneak peeks from the last two collections. Of course there is a fun GIVEAWAY opportunity every week, PLUS a GRAND PRIZE at the end of the fourth week  (more details further below.)

Noteworthy is the opportunity to reach out to a friend, family member or that special someone in your life. To take our ordinary days into extraordinary movements that are sure to be noteworthy.

Using some of the products from this amazing collection I created a 5.5″ x 4.25″ card and pillow box  perfect to say Thanks to a friend or coworker:

I created a card base from Oatmeal Cookie card stock, and then I simply adhered a few Noteworthy patterned paper strips. Then I stamped the sentiment over a wide strip of white card stock and I adhered it over the thin strips with foam squares. At the end, I embellished the card with some golden sequins, clear gemstones and I put Journey Glaze over the word Thanks.

I complemented this thank you card, with a pillow box, where you can put a gift card inside, or even some chocolates or candy.  I created it by using one of the 6″x 6″ sheets of the patterned paper pack and a pillow box punch board. I stamped a short sentiment onto a little tag with black ink and I also put Journey Glaze over the word. I tied a ribbon bow and I added the tag with a piece of linen thread.

Now let’s talk about the giveaway. The products below are just a peek at what’s to come! And you can enter for a chance to WIN them too!

GRAND PRIZE: Exclusive RG messenger bag with floral print inside to match one of the new collections AND winner will also receive ALL four prize packages from each of the four weeks of giveaways!

As part of this special day Hero Arts has stashed THREE great GIVEAWAYS to readers of this hop. The winners will be randomly chosen from all of the blog hop comments across all blogs received by 11:59pm PST on Sunday, November 22nd. The announcement of the winner will be on Tuesday, November 24th at the Hero Arts Blog.

I created a card showcasing several products from the Holiday Catalog, and I have written the instructions as follows…

  1. Make a base card from Cerulean Layering Paper.
  2. Stamp Candy Stripes Bold Prints background with Pool Mid-Tone Shadow Ink.
  3. Stamp  Winter Trees Scene over a Snow Layering Paper rectangle with Pool to Navy Ombré Ink. I put a little piece of an sticky note onto one of the tree trunks to block it from stamping.
  4. Stamp Joy by Lia over stamped image with Versamark. Heat emboss with Platinum embossing powder.
  5. Trim around the stamped rectangle with a craft knife and ruler. Mat with a golden paper rectangle. Adhere panel to card front.
  6. Using the Ribbon Cutting Set by Lia make a bow from golden paper. Adhere to card front.
  7. Embellish card with tiny Clear Gemstones.

Use a piece of a sticky note over the inked stamp when you want to block part of the image.

CASE Study Anniversary Blog Hop

Today  I am joining a wonderful group of talented ladies as part of the CASE Study First Anniversary celebrations… Yes!… CASE Study turned ONE!  These twelve months have been full of fabulous designers, and let me tell you that, all the inspiration that we have received through CASE Study…  has been amazing. I am proud to say that I was one of the first Muses that sweet  Iwona Palamountain has invited… Yay!  I am really happy to see  all that she, and her DT have accomplished during this first year. Congratulations ladies!

To celebrate, all the Designers have selected one card created by one of the DT members… I chose one super talented lady, who  happens to live in Chicago too… You are not going to believe it, but we haven’t met yet… lol. Anyway, she is Cristina Kowalczik, and she has created this beautiful card for CASE Study #46….

Every detail on Cristina’s card is truly inspiring 🙂 So, I used the same design and elements, but I used different colors… Very similar yet different…

Blog hops are always fun, but when there is some blog candy along the way, they get better…Don’t you think? Well, you already know the rules,  you just have to leave some love on every participant blog and have a lot of fun too…

Happy Birthday, Ashley!

Hi there!!!

Today I am very glad to be joining a special birthday blog hop celebration that the Embellish team had prepared for our friend…

Ashley C. Newell

Ash, is such a great friend, and inspiration for me. I’m so glad to have met her. I love her work, and that she is always willing to respond my sometimes silly questions 🙂  I made a happy card for her 🙂 using a very cute LawnFawn mini set and some fun patterned papers by Collage Press Studios…

I hope you have a wonderful day, and a terrific year doing all the things you love to do 😉

Please join the fun, and get inspired by my talented Embellish team pals 🙂

Stampers Dream & JustRite Blog Hop

Happy Monday, everyone!!!

Welcome to a fun and inspirational Blog Hop showcasing JustRite Stampers products. The  Stamper’s Dream Team will be hopping with the JustRite Blog Team…Yaaay! So be ready to get lots of inspiration!!!

We are specifically, featuring the products from the February-March catalog. I have to tell you that all the stamp sets included in it, are very, very pretty. So,  it took me a while to decide which one to use for today’s card, but finally I chose  Kindness.  This set is designed to fit Spellbinders Labels Twenty. Even though, I don’t have those dies, I relied on my scissors and hands to trim around the stamped image. I think it looks fine. But anyway, I added  labels twenty to my wish list 😉  just because I like the idea of embossing along the edge. Well, my design is simple, but I added some extra touches, like the tule ribbon, the lace, stitches, the chrysanthemum and twine, in order to make my card to look more classy  :D

There is Poetry in KindessAlong the hop we have 3 great blog candy prizes hidden!! No one knows where the blog candy is!  For your chance to win one of these three prizes simply leave a comment on each blog.  Blog comments will remain open until 8 pm CST – Tuesday March 22nd.  The 3 winners will be announced on the Stamper’s Dream Blog and the JustRite Blog on Wednesday March 23rd.

Here is what you have a chance to win – 4 JustRite Stamps sets of your Choice, or…

…A $50.00 Prize package from Stamper’s Dream (showed above)…or a $50.00  Shopping Spree to the JustRite Webstore.
