I am back today to share a Hero Arts Card and a Video…Yay! So here is my colorful card…
I used a stamp set called Butterfly and its matching Frame Cut, along with other Hero Arts products. All these products are included in the New Hero Arts 2015 Spring Catalog, and let me tell you that all the new stamps are amazing. You will find the name of the products that I used to create this card listed at the end of this post. I want to point out that I created this card using a simple technique that I named “Ink Cubes Background Technique”, and I hope you feel inspired to create some cards with it! This card is super easy to make, and you can watch the video of how I made it right here… Enjoy!

Happy Friday, everyone!
I am back today with a re-do of a card that I created a while ago. I have received good comments about the original card, and I also have seen that it has been pinned a few times on Pinterest. This week, a reader asked me for the instructions of this card, and of course I am more than happy to share with her and with everybody how I made it. So I created the same card again with a little twist. Let me tell you, that this card is definitely not a ten minutes card… Is not dificult to make it, though… but it has many steps :). Well, here is the original card…
…And here is the new one….
As you can see, I changed the colors, the sentiment and used butterflies instead of flowers. The main stamp images (All of them by Hero Arts) are the same as the original card: Cling Dots (background image on white card stock), Friends Definition (butterflies), Garden Borders ( background on Kraft card stock). The sentiment is also by HA and it belongs to a set called: Thinking of you Kite. I also used sequins, White Tulle ribbon by American Crafts (3in. x 10 yd.), and of course some stitches. I thought it was more fun to make a video instead of just writing the instructions… so here is how I made it….
Well, I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day today… and keep celebrating it during the weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
I have a card for today and also a video that you will find below the picture. The colors of Fall are everywhere so I could not resist creating another card for this beautiful season. So, for this card I used three Jane’s Doodles sets, two of them are not Autumn stamps… Can you guess which sets I have used?
I hope you all have and awesome weekend! I’ll be back soon with another card, or maybe I will share one of my Scrapbooking layouts…
Thanks for your visit!
Today we are showcasing a stamp set called Big Words… and that is exactly what is this set about: big words 🙂
Anyway, here is my card, I made a random background using plastic cups and caps, and I simply stamped one of the big sentiments on it. I also added some glossy accents here and there. I made a video showing this technique that I named Round Stains Technique (I am not sure if it has another name), and you can find it below my card 🙂

I created a card using an image and a sentiment from Tree Friends stamp set. I gave color to this card using distress inks that I applied with something called embossing brushes (that’s the name on the package I have). These brushes are kind of small sponge daubers, like foam brushes, but tiny. So that’s why the colors are off the black lines… It was fun just to try something different. I finished my card with glossy accents and mini gemstones 🙂 I also made a video of it… so if you want to watch it, you will find it at the end of this post 🙂

I created this card last week. But I was busy and I didn’t have the time to publish it (I think it was published last Friday at the Jane’s Doodles blog). Anyway, I also created a video to show the technique that I used. I am not sure what’s the name of this technique, so I just called it “Fun Technique” 🙂 I saw this technique a couple of years ago, and I think is pretty cool. The only trick is that you have to use symmetrical images to obtain best results. To show it, I used a Jane’s Doodles set called: Doodle Flowers. Even though the images included in this set are more for suited for a spring or summer card, by using some autumn colors, I gave to the images a little twist. I guess this is a fun way to stretch your stamps. Please take a look…
Here is the video 🙂

Welcome to another great challenge…
We have a fun challenge this week… The color combo is fabulous as usual (thanks to Ash and Tina), and the requirement is to use decorative tape 🙂 If you’re a fanatic of this kind of tape, I am sure you would love to join us, and if not, this is a great opportunity to give it a try 😉 I have to say that since last year, when I started seeing projects with decorative tape, I was curious about it. Well, I finally bought a couple of rolls a few weeks ago, but I have been a bit afraid of using it a lot… Lol… I guess is because is new for me. Anyway, I created a simple card for today… and at the end, I loved how my card turned out … I even made a video… I included the list of materials in it, so with no further explanation here is my card and below the picture you can find the video 😀
You can look for more inspiration and details at Embellish Magazine where you can also check out the other DT fantastic sample projects! Remember: you are invited to participate, and you have plenty of time to submit your projects.
