FSJ Cards for Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Welcome!

FSJ_CLC Blog

If you are coming from Michelle Woerner ‘s blog,  you are in the right place. I am happy to be participating in the Fun Stampers Journey Collaboration Blog Hop.  As you can see, we are siding with our friends from the Coffee Loving Cardmakers for a fun inspirational hop, full of wonderful creations and a great prize.

So for today I created a couple of cards using the same design and stamps on both, and only making a change in the selection of colors and papers. I made these cards smaller than the normal size. They measure 3.5″ x 4.25, so you can get three cards from one letter size piece of Whip Cream cardstock. The cards feature a fun stamp set called Coffee Helps and its  matching die set, which is quite convenient.

For the first card I chose the small gingham print from the Good Life Prints collection. I made a partial background panel over my card and I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink.  I adhered the panel over my card base along with a circle. I also put a piece of Girl’s Life Tape and I used a Brush Silver Staple.

I stamped the cup of coffee with Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink and I colored it with Cool Pool Liquid color.  Before I adhered the cup over the circle, I stamped the vapor lines over the circle. I use some Journey Squares to adhere the cup and I complemented my card with a Love Filled heart.

Second card is the same process. I used Hazelnut Blend True Color Fusion Ink for the stamping part and a different sheet from the Good Life Prints collection.  I used the new Rustic Rose Liquid Color for the cup, and the Lemon Sparkle tape. Overall I had a lot of fun creating these cute cards 🙂

  4. I love that you paired the coffee with the Good Life paper. And sparkle tape! That is a touch I never remember but always love when I see it on someone elses card.
