Happy Friday, everyone! Hero Arts just released their 2016 Winter Catalog, and let me tell you that there are many great stamps and products in it, that I am sure you are going to love 😉 The date the products will be in the Hero Arts store is Monday, August 22. So please mark your calendars!!! Hint: You will also spot them at your favorite retailers after August 1st 😉
Anyways, today I am sharing a card that I created with a fun and cute set called Holiday Animals. For this set there is a matching Frame Cuts set, that you can buy separately or as a combo.
For this card I simply stamped the bear and penguin images with Intense Black ink over a watercolor paper panel. Additionally, I stamped the gift image on a separate small piece of watercolor paper. Then, I simply colored the images and background with watercolors. Nothing perfect or detailed. That is something that I love about watercolors, they are super easy to apply and you don’t have to be an expert to achieve a fun effect.
After the watercolor was dried, I stamped the sentiment with Intense Black ink and the trees using two tones of green. Next, I adhered the gift image over the panel with foam tape, I added glitter and glossy accent details, and I finished off my card with gemstones and thread.
If you haven’t seen the catalog, here you can take a peek of it…
