Hero Arts Summer Catalogs Sneak Peeks

Today’s sneak peeks are all about adventure. Among the new products included in the 2016 Summer Catalog, there are many fun stamps that are just perfect to create greeting cards or document your journeys…

The card that I created for today features a clear set called The Adventure Begins, which I love because includes different fun images and sentiments. To create this card, I began by stamping  a woodgrain background over a card base (Foliage Mix Layering Papers) with Moss Hybrid Ink. Then, on a piece of Snow Layering Paper, I stamped the tent along with the sentiment with Black Intense Ink, and the pines with Moss Hybrid Ink.

Additionally, I stamped the tent over a piece of red card stock, and I trimmed the image with scissors. After that, I adhered the piece over the panel.  I matted the panel and adhered it over the card base. Finally, I embellished the card with gemstones and hemp.

  1. The wood grain background is the best I have seen, I just love the look. I am going to have to find someone going to camp this summer just so I can use the tent stamp because it is just adorable

  2. Love the woodgrain background for this themed card…I would love to make one like this for my daughter and SIL and brand new baby! They are outdoors-y people and would love!

  3. These would be great for notes home from camp… As in, sending little ones off with a stack of customized stationary to write home with.
