Summer is around the corner and at Hero Arts we are ready to share some sneak peeks of the amazing products that are included in the new 2016 Summer Catalog. We are starting the week featuring Color Layering Stamp sets, so my card for today features a set named Color Layering Flamingo.
The set includes, besides the Flamingo some other images and sentiments that complement the main image. For my card, I created the layers of the bird with different colors of ink: Neon Ombré Red To Purple ink, Orchid Hybrid Ink, Mulle Wine Hybrid Ink, and Intense Black Ink for the eye and beak. Another product that is going to be available along with this fabulous set is its matching Flamingo Frame Cut, so keep this in mind when you make your wish list 😉
I created the background of this card using the Waved Pattern woodblock stamp, Pool Layering Paper and Tide Pool Mid Tone Shadow Ink. At the end I simply added a sentiment and a few clear gemstones.
