Today I am happy to be participating on a blog hop for a good cause, which was started by the Hero Arts Director of Sales, Kimberly Saldaña. This organization helps comfort parents, mothers in particular, those who have lost a piece of their heart. Hero Arts is donating 25% of the profits from these stamps to support the Lasting Hearts efforts, in cooperation with Angela Miller, the author of “You Are The Mother of All Mothers.” Here you can see the complete collection:
For this special occasion, I created a clean and simple card showcasing one of the sentiments included in the So Sorry Stamp & Cut set.
I created the partial background over a white panel using a HA set called For You Flowers along with different colors of Shadow inks. The sentiment was stamped with Intense Black Ink.
At the end, the words were enhanced with a layer of Glossy Accents and I put a few sequins as embellishments.

What a great idea! As a labor and delivery nurse I have been in the counseling and comforting side. Having had three miscarriages myself and unable to have children I’ve been on the grief side. Neither side is easy. But knowing someone cares always help as some point.
