RG Noteworthy Mini Album

It has been a long time since the last time I created a mini album. I have made a few for my mom and  for myself but honestly, I had forgotten how easy and fun it can be to make them. Today, I am sharing a mini album  of my trip to Arizona and I created it using products from the Noteworthy Collection by Richard Garay.

Along with the fabulous Noteworthy products, I used some other supplies that I already had in my stash: rings, punches, decorative tape, foil card stock, ribbons, and some clear badge holders that I used as mini page protectors😀

I started by printing out a small size of my pictures and matting them with white card stock. Then I cut six  rectangles (4″x3″) from black card stock and from different Noteworthy Prints (double sided patterned papers).  I trimmed the patterned papers in half, some horizontally and some vertically, and I adhered them over the black rectangles.

I randomly sorted the mini pages and I started adhering the pictures, one on each page. I used some of the words that are included in a stamp set called Noteworthy. I gold embossed the words over vellum strips, and I used them as titles on some of the pages, including the very first page.

As embellishments for the pages, I put small pieces of decorative tape and some heart and star shapes that were punched from foil card stock. The pages are really small, so the only extra embellishments that I put were some clear gemstones here and there.  I did not want to make the pages too bulky, because I knew they had to fit inside the protectors.

To make the base of the album, where the journal  is (last page), I used a thick card stock (4.5″ x 4″)  covered with patterned paper on both sides, and  I perforated two holes for the rings. I adorned those ring with pieces of ribbon.

Here you can see the order of the pages, before I assembled the album…

I made a few changes after I took these pictures (I changed some of the words, I added more gemstones, etc) but basically is the same and you can see better what I did on each page.  One of the things that I like about this type of mini album with rings, is that you can always add more pages later if you want🙂

Well, that’s all from me for today, I will be back soon to share another project.

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a wonderful crafty rest of the week!
