What I like the most about this set is that the designs of the flowers and leaves are clean and graphic, which made me feel inspired to create with them. I chose a two color combination to create a partial background.
I started by stamping the three flowers over a white panel with Bubble Gum Mid Tone Shadow Ink. Then, I stamped the leaves images several times in between and over the floral images with Soft Olive Shadow Ink. I did not worry about overlapping the images because I knew since the beginning that I was going to create dimensional elements that would cover the overlapped images 😉 To create the dimensional flowers, I stamped the flowers again on a piece of white card stock, and I die cut them using its matching dies. I also die cut a piece of foam, which I used to add dimension.
I adhered the two pieces and I placed them over the panel, covering the previously stamped flower images. To finish this card, the sentiment was stamped with the new Intense Black ink , the panel adhered over a green card base, and embellished with some yummy sequins that coordinate with the color combo.
Another reason for creating this card using floral motifs was to remind you that there is still time to participate in the current Hero Arts challenge 🙂 Please click on the image below to see the details…
