My Monthly Hero: Creativity in a Box

Happy Monday everyone!

Today is the release day for a new product by Hero Arts. This product will be available TODAY at NOON (eastern time) at the Hero Arts store….

As it name says, this is a new kit program featuring an exclusive collection of items that will be released on the first Monday of each month. The kit is available for a limited time only – once it’s gone, it’s gone. There is not an option to subscribe at this time, so at the beginning of the month be sure to visit the Hero Arts blog or the Hero Arts store  to see the current collection.  The kit includes a set of wonderful stamps, matching die-cuts and mini square inks, perfect to create Holiday cards and other projects. Take a look:

So today as part of this exciting release,  I created a card using the stamp set and inks included in this kit:100215web_happyholidaysb

I have to mention that this Color Layering set is very easy to work with, and the color combo of the mini ink pads are very pretty 🙂  To make this card, I created a partial background using the small and big poinsettia images. Then, I gold-embossed the sentiment over a strip of white card stock and adhered it on the stamped panel with foam tape. At the end I embellished with golden ribbon and sequins.

Please don’t forget to visit the blogs below to see other wonderful ideas by a group of super talented designers:

  1. So glad it’s a layering poinsettia.. that will make it easy and fast for several Christmas cards at the same time. Your card is very pretty. Love the gold touch. Jeanne Jordan
