A HA Card [Nicest Thoughts]

One more quick post, just to share a card using some Hero Arts great products…

I created the background of this card using watercolor paper, Floral Vines Stencil, lightweight spackling, and Faber Castell Gelatos. Using the stencil as a mask, I put lightweight spackling with a spatula, and I let it dry. Then, I made a mix of Gelatos colors over a craft sheet. I sprayed water on them, and I carefully put the watercolor panel facing down over the color mixture for a few seconds. You just want that the color touches only the raised shapes. When dried, I adhered it to a card base (Pool Layering Paper).

The focal point of this card is a woodblock stamp called Nicest Thoughts, and I just white-embossed the image onto Black Layering Paper. Next, I simply trimmed the image with scissors, and adhered it with foam tape to the card front. At the end I added some small and medium pearls as the final touches.

Well, that’s all from me right now, I will be back soon to share another project!

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a wonderful crafty weeked!
