Hero Arts Handmade for Christmas Blog Hop

HeroArts_HolidayHop_500

Hello everyone, and welcome to my stop on the Hero Arts Handmade for Christmas Blog Hop featuring products from the new 2014 Holiday Catalog! If you have come from Jennifer McGuire’s blog… you are in the right direction! If you are just joining the hop and you would like to start from the beginning, please head over to the Hero Arts Blog.

Today I am sharing a card featuring a pretty clear stamps set and matching die cut called Christmas Tree. I made a card base using Snow layering paper. Next, I created the three tone background by layering  Azure, Cerulean and Powder layering papers. To create the curve effect, you can either use a circle cutter or any curve die-cut.  Then, I heat-embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder. After that, I heat-embossed the tree image using white embossing powder onto Pine layering paper. Then I die-cut the the tree shape, and added it to the card front using foam tape. Finally, I embellished the card with a Star shaped gem, multicolor gems, and tie a gold cord around card front… Easy and fun to make!
