A JD Card [Happy Holidays]

Hi there!

I am back today with a card  that I made using a JD stamp set called It’s the Season. To create my round card I used two circle dies by Spellbinders. I think that basic shapes of dies are the ones that you want to always have in your stash. I don’t have that many different shapes of dies, basically because they are expensive and I have tried to buy only the ones that I know  I will be using over and over again.  Anyway, I created the base and background of my card using the Speelbinder dies. Next, I simply stamped the snowman on a piece of white card stock with black ink and added some color details (an orange nose and light blue along the snowman body). Then, I  heat-embossed the sentiment with white powder, and I added a piece of patterned paper on the bottom, so the snowman wouldn’t look like he was flying 😀 I embellished my card with yummy sequins, Liquid Pearls, Stickles and Glossy Accents… Uff! it sounds like a lot of things for such a small card, but these were just the final touches that made my card shine!

I also made an envelope for this card; I used white paper and I created a liner by stamping the background image also included in It’s the Season.

Besides the stamp set and cardstock I also used these products:

Thank you for visiting :) Have a wonderful crafty week!
