Welcome to another fantastic challenge…

This time, Embellish is requiring you to create a project with a chevron pattern and using the color palette showcased in the fabulous inspirational image above
So, I think this is pretty easy, since Chevron is currently a trendy pattern among the crafty world… Therefore, if you don’t have any chevron paper or stamps in your stash, now you have a good excuse to visit the craft store and get some chevron stripes, right?
About my card, I created it with some Hero Arts products
The background is a large cling stamp called Zig-Zag, and it was stamped on a HA folded card with Versamark, and then, I heat-embossed with clear embossing powder. The focal point is a woodblock stamp called Wild Flowers with label and this was simply stamped on a white cardstock rectangle with VersaMagic Niagara Mist chalk ink. The sentiment is from a clear stamp set called Wish you Were Here, and I stamped it on a white cardstock strip with Versamagic Purple Hydrangea chalk ink. The butterfly punch that I used is by Martha Stewart, and it is called Royal Butterfly… I added a button and pearls as the final touches…
You can look for more inspiration and details at Embellish Magazine where you can also check out the other DT fantastic sample projects! Remember: you are invited to participate, and you have plenty of time to submit your projects.

Lovely card Mariana! I love the button and bit of twine. I also love that your chevron is subtle. I’ll have to try that also, instead of LOOK…CHEVRON!
